SDE-3000EVH System Program(Ver1.11)

HOW TO TELL THE VERSION
Please check the version of the system working on your SDE-3000EVH before downloading the archive file.
  1. Hold down the [FEEDBACK PHASE] button and turn on the power.
  2. The version information appears in the left of the display.
  3. After verifying the displayed version, turn off the power.

Functionality Improvements

The following bugs have been fixed.
  • Fixed that Control Change messages are ignored when sending Program Change message and Control Change messages continuously in MIDI.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE YOUR SDE-3000EVH
  • SDE-3000EVH
  • USB Type-C® cable
    * The update is carried out with the unit and the computer connected via USB.
    * Provide a cable suitable for connection to the computer you're using.
  • Computer (Windows or Mac) equipped with a USB port compliant with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0.
CAUTION WHEN PERFORMING THE UPDATE
  • Never apply this update data to any product other than the SDE-3000EVH. This update data may destroy the data or system program of other products.
  • Never power-off your SDE-3000EVH while the update is in progress!
    If a power failure or similar accident occurs during the update process, the SDE-3000EVH won't be able to start up in normal operating mode. This will require servicing, so you will need to contact Roland service center near you if this occurs.
  • We regret that we are unable to answer questions regarding the update procedure using this system program. Please perform the update responsibly, following the directions given in this document.
GETTING THE UPDATE FILE
Please open/extract the downloaded "sde3000evh_sys_v111.zip" file on your computer to get the "sde3000evh_sys_v111" folder.
Please make sure you have unzipped the downloaded update file.
PROCEDURE FOR THE UPDATE
Caution
  • You must not rename the extracted file.
  • Never turn off the SDE-3000EVH's power while the update is in progress. Otherwise the system program or the SDE-3000EVH itself may be destroyed.
Please install the extracted system program file into your SDE-3000EVH according to the following procedure.
  1. Hold down [ BANK A/B ] button and turn on the power.
    * Contine to hold down [ BANK A/B ] button until "uPdAtE" appears on the display.
  2. Connect the computer to the SDE-3000EVH's USB port by a USB cable.
  3. Open the "SDE3000EVH" drive folder in your computer.
  4. Copy (drag and drop) the two files (SDE3000E.BIN and ROMINFO.TXT) in the sde3000evh_sys_v111" folder into the root directory of the "SDE3000EVH" drive.
  5. After the copy has been completed, unmount or remove the drive on your computer.
    With Windows
    Right-click on the "SDE3000EVH" icon in "This PC" and execute "Eject."
    With macOS
    Drag the "SDE3000EVH" icon to the Trash icon in the Dock.
  6. The update process will start.
  7. The message "uPdAtE donE" will appear on the display when the update process completes.
  8. Turn the SDE-3000EVH power off.
  9. Follow the procedure for checking the version to verify that the version has been updated is 1.11.
